Being an ex-nursing Sister myself I know how important it is to keep updated within your speciality, meet others working in a similar field and know what is happening on the leading edge of your working world. Art For Cure set up a fund for those working in Ipswich and Colchester Hospitals to apply for funding to attend conferences or specialist training days. So far we have funded nurses in micro-pigmentation (nipple tattooing) and once again we are delighted to be funding a team of specialist nurses from the breast care team to attend the ABS ( Annual Breast Surgery) conference coming up soon in Bournemouth Conference Centre.
