Art For Cure was honoured to be selected to be the Charity Partner at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park, London for Autumn 2022. The Art Fair has been established in London since 1999 and has become a top destination here and internationally for the purchase of contemporary art. Ten thousand art lovers descended upon the fair to browse and buy original contemporary paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints in a relaxed and friendly environment.
After being given a complimentary art stand Belinda and team curated a selection from some of the charity’s best-selling and most popular artists and sculptors to reflect what is for sale at their Suffolk-based exhibitions. Sales were tremendous and many new art visitors to the Fair were informed about what the fundraising supports as well as being offered awareness information about breast cancer.
Belinda said ‘It gave us a relaxed opportunity to ask art buyers what art they like, where they source their art and what they knew about breast cancer presently here in the UK’Art For Cure raised almost £11k over the 4 days through the sale of their selected art and donations and gained enormous profile through being the Charity Partner to the Fair.
