Cat Santos has been working with ceramics for the past 15 years. Using low-tech printing methods, she combines her career-long printmaking background with ceramics as she decorates hand built vases with slips and oxides. Her images are inspired by landscape, scale and the place of humans on this earth. Unlike printing on paper or fabric, the thrill of ceramics is the transformation of the materials in the kiln. Cat exhibits regularly in various UK galleries.

Much of the work Cat is exhibiting for Journey is inspired by the sense of smallness one can feel beneath the huge Suffolk skies.
