Emma Fenelon

Emma’s creative practice evolved in quiet moments whilst single-handedly raising a family through printmaking, photography and ceramics. Emma has now established a sculptural practice using ceramics after gaining a degree in ceramics at Camberwell College of Art. Amidst publicity from her degree show, Emma was offered a yearlong residency at Camberwell to further explore her sculptural work on the theme of becoming visible.

With an early life characterised by almost annual transitions of country, home, and school—a continuous journey of change and adaptation, the stories that texture our lives and the experiences of displacement and otherness are a profound wellspring of inspiration for Emma’s work.
