Jules Carpenter is currently making wire sculptures. She has worked as a gallery manager, exhibitions curator, art workshop leader and photographer. She has drawn musicians live in concert, becoming Artist in Residence for The Alwyn Festival of classical music and Ways with Words literary festival.

Previously, Jules made stage backdrops for WOMAD, world music festival. She was also a member of a puppet company and performed at The British Museum, also designing giant puppets for the Cultural Olympiad.

For Journey exhibition, Jules has made a series of musical troubadors accompanied by travelling circus acrobats.
