Richard Knight paints in a classic modernist tradition inspired by a range of figurative subjects within an urban theme. Having trained at Kingston Art College he has, for the past sixteen years, been based at Wimbledon Art Studios developing his fine art career. His work can be seen at several London area galleries.

The theme of ‘Journey’ perfectly compliments a lot of Richard’s existing work as he finds himself painting a lot of people on the move: be it through the street or at train stations. People moving lend themselves to the gestural way that Richard paints.
