Sara Johnson

Sara trained in woven textiles before becoming a garden designer and finally a landscape painter. She has exhibited with Art for Cure since its inception 10 years ago, as well as with galleries from East Anglia to Scotland. Sara opens her studio in May with Harleston & Waveney Art Trail (HWAT) and exhibits at Ballroom Arts in Aldeburgh in the autumn.

Sara is drawn to explore and paint the islands of the Outer Hebrides because of their remoteness and dramatic wildness. The constantly changing light transforms shell-sand beaches, turquoise seas, hills, moors and lochs. All in all, they are a landscape painter's paradise.
