Sarah graduated from Winchester School of Art in the early nineties, having cultivated a unique artistic voice and an award winning body of work. Her work has sold in Europe and the US, to collectors including Agnes B, Charles Jourdan, Paloma Picasso and French Connection.
For the past 30 years, she has made her home in the big-skied county of Suffolk which she takes inspiration from the ever-changing Suffolk landscape as well as from her relationships and narratives within her own life.
Sarah’s paintings are characterised by their bold use of colour, confident compositions, and textured surfaces. She primarily paints in acrylic, enjoying the ability to layer allowing abstracted images reveal themselves, to create dynamic paintings of subject matters including still-life, landscapes and portraits. Her work demonstrates a synergy between figurative and abstracted painting, allowing for her viewers to develop their own unique interpretation of the pieces.
