Astrig is a British painter based in Frome, Somerset working in acrylics and mixed media. She has a playful narrative style which includes a confident use of colour and composition.

She depicts flora and fauna based around allotments, figures and animals, domestic and wild and their interconnections. All of these loves and themes have gradually found each other in Astrig's paintings.
