Kate Reynolds
Kate is a sculptor, painter and draws – all talents uniting to produce stunning, wall hangings or more practical, decorated, ceramic platters and female forms.
Technically, her ceramics are high-fired as well as following the Japanese-inspired Raku process where pots are taken out of the kiln while hot and cooled quickly, giving each piece unique, colourful cracks.
Kate trained in Brighton then Cardiff and has had a long career inspiring, young art students. She now lives in Suffolk where she bases herself in a rural studio close to the coast and has been an inspiring ceramicist and sculptor throughout the Art For Cure journey.
