Suffolk artist Kate Roocroft studied print textiles at the University of Central England in 1998 and later focused on her love for oil painting. In 2021 she began selling her work through galleries and exhibitions.

Kate’s creative process is very experimental, and includes building layers with papers, acrylic, oils & mixed media. Creating abstract interpretations of local landscapes with simplified blocked areas of colour and many layers to incorporate texture and depth.

Kate's work takes inspiration from artists such as Paul Klee.
