Richard Heeps is a film-based photographer using a range of vintage analogue cameras and hand-making his master prints from negative. Richard additionally runs his own colour darkroom in Cambridge. He has exhibited in museums and public galleries since the 1980s and enjoys connecting with his global audience through the creation of many of his artworks on his travels. 

Journey is a central theme across Richard’s works: ICES is on the one hand about the simple joys of the British seaside, but also refers to Richard’s personal childhood journey along the Sussex coast from one set of grandparents to another.
