Samantha Barnes is a painter and printmaker who deeply loves observational drawing. During the colder months of the year, Sam concentrates on her animal studies, particularly dogs, and as the warmer months begin and our native flowers appear, she begins to paint flora.

Celebrating thirty years of being an artist, Sam originally studied Scotland, then lived in London for many years. Moving to Suffolk 12 years ago she finds continual inspiration in the land and seascape. She works from her studio in her garden and enjoys a far-reaching and enthusiastic client list.
