Simon Turner
Simon is an enthusiastic artist, love of vintage tools, old, recyclable materials and a long-term member of the Art For Cure team. He lives between East London where he teaches design and the Suffolk coast where he is a keen member of the Yoxford Makers as well as exhibiting in East Anglia independently.
He is a multi-media artist always experimenting with new forms and materials - working in wood, weaving with organically dyed wools as well as more recently ceramics. His collection of beautiful platters and boards are exclusive to the Spring Exhibition and combine the visual textures from his love of wood grains and growth rings in woods. His work is currently on show at The Bakery Gallery in Camden Passage.
