Susan Debnam is a painter and colourist currently working towards a Master’s Degree in Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts.

Her paintings lean towards abstracted still life and landscape in both oil and acrylic. 

Following a career in organisational change consultancy Susan began painting consistently in 2019. Until then, creating had played a secondary role, mostly through the medium of photography. 

Susan lives and works near Aldeburgh and has been exhibiting regionally for four years. 

Susan’s MA at NUA has been leading Susan into sculpture, welding, print-making and more. She is currently working with the themes of proposition, ambiguity and frustration and embracing the unknown. Who knows where it will all lead?
